How to get here
By plane and bus:
You can book your transfer from Izmir Airport to Afacan along with your flight.
By plane and train:
A commuter train connects Izmir Airport to Aliağa (approx. 30 km south of Afacan). From the international terminal it is about a ten-minute walk to the train station. The trip to Aliağa takes an hour and a half and doesn’t cost much. There are no restroom facilities on the train. You can arrange to be picked up from Aliağa (please request this when you make your reservation) or take a minibus north (about a twenty-minute drive).
By car, bus or minibus:
From the south: A couple kilometers north of Yenişakran you will pass a gas station on the left-hand side. Take the next left and follow signs for Afacan.
