My life as a turtle at Afacan

At Afacan, life as a turtle isn’t always easy. Often I hear big kids yelling: “Eeeww! A turtle!” Or they almost step on me. Sometimes they also yell: “Aww” and want to pick me up and feed me salami, cucumber, lettuce and cheese. As a turtle I belong to Afacan just as much as Filiz, Sami, Ali and everyone else who works for us here. That’s why I stay on the grounds. I have a friend here, but he is only half as big as I am. We have fun together in the bushes when the “Afacans” (rascals) start to get annoying.
